Our Business & Professional courses offer a wide variety of study areas. For example, AAT Accounting courses, Business & Administration, Leadership & Management and CIPD courses.
Our courses lead to career opportunities in business specialisms in Finance, HR, Management and many more. On work experience and from our professional tutors, you will learn how to work effectively in accountancy and finance, develop your personal skills and communicate effectively.
You will learn many transferable skills to prepare you for the workplace and modern office environments.
Account skills you will develop include advanced bookkeeping, final accounts preparation, indirect tax, management accounting, ethics for accountants and many more. The business areas you will cover with us include exploring business, progression routes / leaving destinations after your time with us, and employment or professional qualifications in accountancy to name just a few.

Depending on what course you do, you will look at some specialised areas which may help you decide what to progress to after college. On our Accounting and Finance pathway, we have worked with lots of external partners and continue to do so. We are proud to say that as a College, our partners include companies like the Ashford Designer Outlet, where our students can gain experience from big brands, and they can see what happens in our pathways in great detail. This also allows our students to ask questions and be given great advice by those with years of experience. We are also able to place our learners with a range of high quality businesses close to their home for their practical workplace experience.

Financial and accounting technicians work alongside accountants and other financial professionals in managing the financial affairs of organisations.
