This qualification covers a range of essential and higher-level accounting techniques and disciplines. Students will learn and develop skills needed for a range of financial processes, including maintaining cost accounting records, advanced bookkeeping and the preparation of financial reports and returns.
You will learn a range of complex accounting tasks such as maintaining cost accounting records and the preparation of income statements, reports and returns. There are several units on this course, including Business Awareness, Management Accounting Techniques, and Tax Processes for Businesses.
Whilst there are no formal academic entry requirements to undertake the Level 3 Advanced Diploma in Accounting, competency in manual double-entry bookkeeping as well basic maths and English skills are necessary.
You will be assessed through computer based exams and projects.
The course fee is £2573* and includes AAT Membership.
For our AAT Courses, you will be expected to bring a calculator and you may need to buy some course text books.
*This course may be free to those who are 19+ and are unemployed or on a low income.
19 - 23: This course can be fully funded if this is your first full Level 3 qualification or is being taken through the Level 3 Free Course for Jobs government scheme.
24+: You are eligible if you are unemployed, on benefits, or on a low wage. It can also be fully funded if this is your first full Level 3 qualification or is being taken through the Level 3 Free Course for Jobs government scheme.
