Starting her career in FE 14 years ago, Alexandra has had the opportunity to work nationwide at different schools and colleges, before settling in Kent in 2018. Previously based at Folkestone College, this is Alexandra's fourth year with EKC Group.
The move to Ashford was one that was filled with excitement and potential. Alexandra herself said: " Ashford College is an incredibly vibrant and welcoming place, where staff work hard to get the best out of and for our students – both in terms of current qualifications and progression into employment or on to university. Ashford itself is developing in so many ways at quite a pace and I want to ensure that the college is instrumental in ensuring that we inspire and prepare young people to take advantage of all of the opportunities that the various developments present."
Alexandra is an asset to our College, and her forward-thinking and ambition is what can help take Ashford College further. With a passion for people development in staff and students alike, Alexandra is looking forward to this new opportunity as our Deputy Principal.
In her spare time, Alexandra loves keeping fit and is a keen swimmer, and enjoys open water paddleboarding.
