Alumni Entrepreneurs – Where are they now?

We are proud to say that many of our alumni are now entrepreneurs and run their own successful businesses.

We caught up with some of them to see how their businesses have developed and how they are using their initiative and entrepreneurial nature to succeed in their professions.

Evie Wells – EV Designs

Evie studied Media at Canterbury College and used her passion for creativity to create her own business.

Her clothing company, EV Designs, fills a gap in the local market for DIY t-shirts. Evie used the skills that she learned on her course and put them to good use, combining her passion for DIY with her artistic talents.

She uses social media to target the local market and has worked with top companies to provide them with t-shirts. Evie also sells on online stores and runs stalls at events in and around Canterbury.

Due to Evie’s hard work and motivation, she was nominated as a finalist in the Young Business Woman of the Year category in the Kent Women in Business awards.
