As our own admissions authority, we are required under the School Admissions Code 2021 to review our Admissions Policy annually and to consult on our arrangements from time to time as follows:
1. When changes are proposed to admission arrangements, all admission authorities must consult on their admission arrangements (including any supplementary information form) that will apply for admission applications the following school year.
2. Where the admission arrangements have not changed from the previous year there is no requirement to consult, subject to the requirement that admission authorities must consult on their admission arrangements at least once every 7 years, even if there have been no changes during that period.
Having welcomed East Stour Primary, Ashford and Palm Bay Primary, Palm Bay to the EKC family in March 2022, the Trust is consulting to harmonise admission arrangements aligning our new schools to our Trust Admissions Policy.

This consultation will open on 21st November 2022 and any comments relating to the policy will need to be received by 3rd January 2023.
The Admissions Policy for 2024-25 will be determined by 28th February 2023.
